We haven’t heard much news concerning ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ lately, and it some fearing the worst. Many were worried we’d hear another delay based on the coronavirus that’s been sweeping the world. Fortunately, CD Projekt Red released a statement on their Twitter accounting addressing everyone’s concerns.
“Dear all. Many of you are probably wondering how things are at CD PROJEKT RED and how COVID-19 influences our day-to-day operations. Here’s a short update. Over the past week, we have been adapting to the situation and gradually rolling out preventive measures across our entire organization. We’ve also been upgrading equipment and infrastructure and working towards enabling our employees to work remotely, from the safety of their own homes.
Today, as a result of the preparation, CD PROJEKT RED switches to full remote work for as long as it is needed. We think this will grant every team member the highest level of personal health safety. And while this all is a bit new to everyone, we are rising to the challenge and showing no signs of stopping in out effect to bring you some kick-ass role-playing action in September.”

It appears that we can rest easy as they still plan to release in September! This is great news. I think a lot of people were expecting another delay so to see them confident in their release is relieving. Unfortunately, still not a lot of new news concerning the game as everyone struggles to deal with the virus. However, it does look like everything’s on track so with a little more patience we will be able to enjoy the title in a few short months.
