Newest Trailer For 'Ghosts of Tsushima' Is Out - It's A Cinematic Masterpiece!

Ghost of Tsushima is actively in the running for the most anticipated title of next year. After it’s incredible trailer release last night it’s popularity has skyrocketed. Set to release next year, fans are torn between Ghosts of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 for the game they’re most excited for. Though it’s likely we will play them all, of course.

The story of Ghost of Tsushima follows Jin Sakai as he recovers from the slaughter of his people. According to Ghost of Tsushima’s summary on their website, “Jin was raised and trained in the ways of the samurai. When the Mongols handily defeat the samurai forces, Jin’s world is shattered. He is faced with the most difficult decision of his life: honor the tradition and customs of his samurai upbringing and maintain a fight he cannot win, or deviate from his samurai path to protect the island and its people by any means necessary.”

For a long time, fans of Assassin’s Creed have been asking for a title set in Feudal Japan. It seems Ubisoft may have missed their golden opportunity now with the imminent release of Ghost of Tsushima. In Ghosts of Tsushima, you will “Set aside samurai traditions and forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, as you embark on a vast open-world adventure and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, creators of the Infamous series, and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment Ghosts of Tsushima could be one of the last PS4 exclusive titles. Set for release in the Summer of 2020, who knows what exclusive titles will be released on the PS4 before the release of the anticipated PS5 next holiday season.

It’s no surprise that Ghosts of Tsushima is getting so much praise. With the newest trailer release, the cinematic masterpiece is like watching a high definition film. Not only are the cinematics breathtaking, but the actual gameplay videos look just as amazing.

In the trailer, we can see the main character traveling through various landscapes on horseback, including wintery wonderlands, flowered meadows, and open plains.
