There have been some rumours of Xbox working with Kojima Productions on a new game. This was originally due to the fact that in an interview with Phil Spencer. There was a Kojima production statue in the background.

Phil Spencer has been known to tease upcoming deals and games through these background shots in the past.

There is still no confirmation of these, but there are new rumours of Kojima working on something with Xbox.

Currently, we have nothing confirmed from Kojima Productions, but rumours are starting to heat up. At the moment, the best looking time for the announcement is the upcoming E3.

Will this hurt the relationship with Playstation?

It was originally thought that Konjia Productions had a working relationship with Playstation.

Death Stranding was a Playstation Exclusive, making it seem like the next game would also be an exclusive for Playstation. That doesn’t seem to be the case, and if it does turn out to be true.

We could be seeing an Xbox Exclusive from the studio. It doesn’t seem like this would really hurt the relationship between Kojima and PlayStation in the future.

When something like this happens, there doesn’t really seem to be bad blood between any company. It seems to be just business.

What game could it be?

A couple of years ago, it was kind of easy to predict what type of game we could see from an Xbox Exclusive game. After the massive amount of different studios, Xbox has now acquired over the years. It now feels like any type of game could be in development.

If I was a betting man, I would go with a horror game. Hideo Kojima seems to really want to make a horror game. Especially after the fact that his Silent Hill game got cancelled. Xbox hasn’t got a decent horror game in their ranks, yet why not a Hideo Kojima one.
