The Asian continent hasn’t yet produced a World Cup winning nation, but that doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been a number of excellent players from around Asia.
The popularity of soccer really accelerated in 2002 due to the World Cup being played in South Korea and Japan, and that same popularity has continued since then.
Players such as Park Ji-Sung, Keisuke Honda and Heung Min-Son have all ensured that talented players can be found in the continent. But, which stars should Career Mode players be looking to sign up?
FIFA 21 Asian Players: Takefusa Kubo
There isn’t any doubt about the highest potentially rated player from Asia on FIFA 21, as Takefusa Kubo could reach a potential rating of 89 on the game. The winger starts the EA Sports game at a rating of 75, but has exceptional ratings for acceleration, agility and dribbling.
He is an exciting winger that is more than capable of breezing past opposing defenders. Managers will not be able to sign him in the first window, as he is on loan at Villarreal. But, they could tempt the Japanese star when he returns to Real Madrid.
FIFA 21 Asian Players: Kang-In Lee
Staying in La Liga, players will be able to find the very talented Kang-In Lee. The 19-year-old starts the game with an overall rating of 74, but he has an exceptional potential rating of 84.
Players looking to combine the top two Asian stars on this list could do so in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Lee playing in the number ten role.
The left-footed star can be found at Valencia, and will be available for £8 million in the first summer window. He has excellent attributes for free kick accuracy, agility and balance.
FIFA 21 Asian Players: Takehiro Tomiyasu
Takehiro Tomiyasu will be a player that Career Mode managers looking to improve their defence will be intrigued by. He currently plays his football in Serie A with Bologna, and has an overall current rating of 72. However, he does have a potential rating of 83 on the game.
Managers will be able to meet his release clause of £8.5 million or pay around £5 million for the full-back. He has decent attributes for stand tackle and strength.
It would be advised that managers on Career Mode look to sign him up as early as possible, otherwise, his value could keep going up.
